Method
- Chill the cider, cranberry juice, and ginger ale before starting; the 5-minute recipe time assumes cold ingredients.
- Combine cider and cranberry juice in a clean 3-quart punch bowl or large pitcher. This juice mixture can be covered and refrigerated up to 24 hours ahead.
- Just before serving, gently stir in the ginger ale. Divide into 8 servings of about 1 cup each and pour over ice. Add ice to the bowl only if serving immediately, since melting ice dilutes the batch.
- Keep extra punch refrigerated. Limit time out to 2 hours, or 1 hour above 90°F. Leftovers are best within 24 hours but will lose their fizz. Do not add fresh punch to an old serving batch.

Notes
The 5-minute time assumes chilled ingredients. Use pasteurized nonalcoholic cider, not hard cider or vinegar. Nutrition is estimated per one-eighth batch. Fiber and saturated fat are omitted because the cider and soda labels do not quantify them.

This version uses unsweetened cranberry juice and apple cider, omits ginger beer and pineapple, and adds ginger ale immediately before serving.
